Am I the only jackass out there not shopdropping anonymously?
I’ve tried to steer clear of the overtly graffiti/street art stylings (the similarity seems substantial enough without adding a ‘tag’ to the mix.) I’ve always thought “fuck it, if they ever actually figure this out, they can come get me.” But now this Jason Eric Kay (the Tiger Woods/Gatorade) guy in Denver has me thinking twice. His charges for shopdropping carry a maximum five-year prison term and $450,000 in fines. Granted, he practically begged Gatorade to have someone arrest him…
But is it time for me to split this operation in two? A legit site to document the movement and an alias for pulling it off myself? Or should I just retire from shopdropping and keep track of where it goes from here?
